# Protocol

## What protocols does ExinSwap support?

ExinSwap supports two protocols, the Uniswap protocol and the Curve protocol.

## Uniswap protocol

Uniswap uses an algorithm called constant product.

See [Algorithm](https://support.exinswap.com/#/algorithm) for details.

## Curve protocol

Curve is an ethereum-based decentralized stablecoin trading pool that features an efficient and low-slippage stablecoin trading experience, as well as low-risk fee income for market makers.

The core design of Curve is the "stablecoin swap curve", which has a smoother slippage compared to Uniswap's swap curve in the 1:1 neighborhood. As a result, Curve offers lower rates on small transactions than centralized exchanges.
